In the short time since the Tri-Valley Rotary Club was chartered, the members of the club have donated their time and funds to a myriad of local and regional service projects. These activities range from purchasing and serving dinner to over 400 Veterans during the East Bay Standown to a clothing drive for a local homeless shelter as well as recognition gifts and visiting veterans in residence at the VA hospital in Livermore. The club is currently working on an international assistance project with another Rotary Club in Jalgaon, India. This joint project would result in the collection and storage of water for over 500 school children in a famine struck area near Jalgaon. Read February 2003 Press Release.

One of our annual fund raising events is an "after dark" golf tournament. This friendly event has gathered fans since it began in the fall of 2003. You have the unique opportunity to play golf on the racetrack course at the Pleasanton Fairground. The course is lit only by fluorescent flags, holes, tees and balls… and moon light!

This exciting golfing experience is guaranteed to be fun for the experts as well as the player who may believe that their best games could be played in the dark.

Highlights include: Tri-tip Steak BBQ Dinner, Scramble (best ball) Tournament, Shotgun Start, Trophies/Prizes for the Winners (and unbelievable bragging rights), Auction Items and Door Prizes.
